This is my full circle moment. My moment of triumph. As I approach my 4 year anniversary of doing photography professionally, the shoot of my dreams took place. On a cold (and I do mean COLD) winter morning at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC magic was made.
Isa, Melissa and I made our way to the front of the Estate and began shooting. I live for an over-the-top moment and it doesn’t get any more grand than this. I had envisioned what this shoot would look like from the moment these two got engaged in Hawaii last year. We had tossed around ideas, but nothing seemed to stick. A few days prior to the actual shoot, we were still trying to figure out where this shoot would take place and still, none of our ideas seemed to be bold enough. Finally, it hit me. If this shoot was going to be as glamorous as I had thought it could be we had to have the Biltmore Estate as our backdrop.
Fast forward to the day of the shoot. Everything fell into place. Isa and Melissa just naturally flow together. It really is seamless. They look darling together and their happiness radiates on camera. I started my career with her as one of my main clients, so naturally I am both humbled and beyond happy for her to finally be able to have her fairytale.
A King. A Queen. A Castle. What could ever be more perfect than that!
